CONCLUSION

1. Yes I enjoyed it. Well, it is a pleasant book to read. There are not too much pages to read and there are full of feelings and thoughts. You can get involved with all the characters and feel as them. The current life is inside the book. Just read it and think about it.
2. There are many pictures of the real life stamped in the book, you can feel all kind of sensations and feelings. It shows you that you can cry or smile. In the case of Daniel you arrive to his story almost naturally when McCourt started a tricked conversation to get the attention of his students. There were talking about dinner and each one talked about the last dinner they had, it looked like being at home with some friends and everyone felt Daniel´ story as own.
3. I think McCourt tries to tell her the same advice he had done during all his life with himself. He wants to show her that teaching is not always easy but if you can find your own way of teaching: go ahead, do it, you will feel better with yourself. It would be more pleasant to carry.
4. In this case we are talking about two students with opposite lives, Rachel Blaunstain nothing happens to her to be counted, she almost had everything in her life, on the opposite there is Guy Lind another student as her but with some differences he had a long story of his life to be counted. His accident made him suffer but he woudn´t want to change anything about his past. After the accident it has been very hard for him but for this reason he appreciates every moment he had lived. “It had made him feel lucky”. In my opinion McCourt wants to show us the same story of the beginning of the book or the same moral of the life. One child coming from Ireland with a hard childhood and on the other hand you can see the teenagers with their cars and clothes and nothing to be counted about them, they had almost an empty life. The story of Rachel and Guy is the story of everyone, some have to fight in their lives to reach something and others had another destiny. This is the life.
